I have raised a toddler,  a child, a youth, a teenager, and a young adult. Although he is the same person, he has been someone different every year!
My Son is 18 now and although people laugh when I explain to them that my job is done, my job is done. I won’t ever stop loving him and my advice will always be here for the taking, but my job was to raise him and send him on his way, and that I have completed. Was it easy; are you kidding me? Was it worth it, you darn right it was! And the wisdom that I’ve gained about life, people, and myself is priceless. Throughout this blog you will read the knowledge and experiences I’m lead to pass on! May it be of help to you as you journey through the path called parenthood!

Thanks for reading

Being a parent is hard work but it’s such a rewarding thing! It requires a lot

of reading. I particularly like to read books from parents that have been

where I have yet to go so that I can gain some wisdom from their victories

and defeats! I don’t pretend to have things all figured out, and neither should

anyone who wants the best for their children.

My only child just turned 18 today! Wow, I can only hope and pray that through
everything we’ve been through together he has come out seeing God, and love.
Money, power, fame, friends, and family, are all good to have and obtain, but
out of everything I desire that the most important thing in his life will be
God! Because then everything else will be love! Assignment Complete!

God Bless you and your family always.

  2. I understand exactly what you mean about the same child yet someone different every year. My eldest son is 16. Wheew! It’s a job only God can give us strength for. 🙂
