break5How many times have we heard this one before? And it’s true, you may not be able to help WHO you love, but you have control over how you love.

If a person is no good for you for whatever the reason, you may need to love them from a distance. Mothers included! For some reason people have a screwed up logic that tells them they have to endure a toxic relationship from a family member, like children, parents, or a spouse. Not so. And that isn’t to say that when things get rough you should always run, but far too many people are staying in relationships that are not good for their health.

You can’t help who you love, but you can help who you allow to “love” on you and how.

Get it?
